A card is issued by entering the user's information using the computer program. The card's number is then registered by presenting the card to the desktop reader.
Once the card has been programmed in the software, it is ready to use. Simply present the card to the reader. Access authorization is immediately checked, and access is granted or denied based on permissions. Paxton proximity cards use Hitag2 technology with proprietary encoding, which includes an authentication protocol in the form of a password exchange between the proximity card and the reader. This provides an additional layer of security in your system.
